It is very important that accurate data resides on TransUnion’s database. However, should your business need to dictate the removal of data, the Credit Reporting Resource Guide can provide you with the necessary guidelines for reporting accounts for deletion.

TransUnion advises that any and all data reporting changes be tested prior to loading to our production database. A delete file should remove all accounts with an outstanding balance while leaving those accounts that have been paid to remain on our database.
