Software Settings:

• For optimal viewing, your display setting should be set at 1024 x 768 or greater screen resolution.
• Each workstation should have Adobe Acrobat® Reader® 7.0 and WinZip® software programs installed.

  Browser Settings:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE) version 6.0x through 7.0x is supported (Microsoft Internet Explorer for Macintosh is not supported).
  • Firefox version 2.0x & 3.0x are supported.
  • Your browser must support 128-bit encryption.
  • Be sure that your browser settings check for newer versions of stored pages at "every visit to the page."  See your browser Help menu for more information about this setting.
  • Cookies must be enabled. See your browser Help menu for more information about this setting.

  Network Requirements:

  • You must have Internet access.
  • If the workstation is behind a firewall/proxy server, the workstation must be able to access www.direct.transunion.com, www2.direct.transunion.com, www6.direct.transunion.com, www.transunion.com, www.certuserdirect.transunion.com, www.digitalcertdirect.transunion.com, www.administrationdirect.transunion.com, using http and https protocols. The www2, certuserdirect.transunion.com, and digitalcertdirect.transunion.com URLs are applicable for users who opt for digital certificates. Similarly, the administrationdirect.transunion.com URL is only required of administrators - not users.

• If you are able to reach the applicable sites, your browser is compatible with TransUnion Direct. If you are unable to reach these sites, contact your network administrator. 

  User Requirements:

  • An active TransUnion subscriber code is needed to access TransUnion products.
  • A valid User ID and password is needed to log into TransUnion Direct.
  • For an additional layer of security, subscriber digital certificates can be installed on each workstation for individual users who will access TransUnion Direct.

  Email Requirements:
  To ensure receipt of vital TransUnion Direct email communications, add the below email addresses to your address book or the trusted senders list in your email program. Spam filters may route emails from new senders to a junk mail or spam folder so you may need to check these folders if you are not receiving TransUnion Direct emails.
