Q: I'm getting married soon, and I have a good credit history. What happens to your credit when you get married? I've heard from some friends that when you get married, both you and your spouse's credit reports become one. Is this true?

Q: My husband and I have applied jointly for a mortgage. His credit score is about 100 points below mine. Will we have to pay higher rates?

Q: I went through a divorce from 2004 until 2009. When it was final and during that time, my credit was all but destroyed due to marital debt. I am in the process of rebuilding it and upon looking at my reports, the prior mortgage has been removed. What can I do?
