If you have contacted all the authorities, including the motor vehicle office, your health insurance provider, and credit card holders, you have made a good start in protecting these accounts. To protect your credit score you should also consider contacting the credit bureaus to add a fraud alert and/or security freeze to your credit files to prevent new credit from being opened or other fraud on other open accounts.
