That way, you can call, text or browse when you need to, without having to worry about losing your main phone or compromising the data it stores.
2. Back up your existing phone, then wipe it.
Another possibility is keeping your existing phone, backing up the data it holds, and then resetting it to factory settings right before your trip. Once you get back from your travels, you can simply wipe any data you stored while traveling (or keep it) and restore the data you had backed up beforehand.
3. Leaving your SIM card at home.
