John Wirth manages the long-term plan for TransUnion’s consumer lending businesses, which includes unsecured lending, retail (non-card) finance, student lending and products for small banks and credit unions. Prior to TransUnion, John co-founded HILD Asset, a consumer finance business that originates reversion agreements across Eastern Europe. He worked with early stage companies as a strategy consultant and with European incubator GorillaPark. Additionally, he has taught Entrepreneurship at Northwestern University and Illinois Institute of Technology and advised start-up companies, including FinTech. Wirth holds an MBA from Cornell University and served as an officer in the U.S. Army.
