New Terrain: Adapting to Shifts in the Personal Insurance Landscape

Price increases have helped close the gap between premium and loss trends for auto insurance, driving many carriers to achieve rate adequacy. Unfortunately, the same is not true for property insurance which sits at a triple-digit combined ratio.

In this recorded webinar, our experts share TransUnion’s exclusive data and analytics to explore consumer profiles and behaviors, examining how the personal lines market is evolving and dissecting household composition.

Session highlights:

  • Understand current economic trends affecting the personal lines industry, with a focus on loss costs trends and consumer demand
  • Listen to an in-depth discussion on the evolution of shopping behavior, considering how carriers should respond to a market where price shopping is increasingly important
  • Discover ways to analyze the relationship between consumer behavior and insurance risk to identify emerging patterns and potential advancements in risk segmentation
