FactorTrust Consumer Inquiry

FactorTrust is a consumer reporting agency that provides consumer reports to third parties for the purpose of credit risk assessment and/or other purposes as permitted by law. As a consumer reporting agency, we may disclose information about you only to companies that you have authorized to access your information, or that are otherwise permitted to access this information.

To Request a Copy of Your Credit Report

Consumers may request a free copy of their FactorTrust credit report annually. You may request a copy of your report two different ways:

If you recently applied for credit or had an adverse action taken against you based on information provided by FactorTrust, you are entitled to receive a copy of that same information free of charge. Please Note: We cannot inform you of the specific reasons why you may have been denied. We can only supply you with the same information given to the lender at the time of your application.

To Request an Investigation

You have the right to submit a dispute if you see anything inaccurate on your FactorTrust credit report. To request a free investigation, you may submit your dispute online or mail it to: FactorTrust, Inc., Attention: Consumer Inquiries, P.O. Box 390, Woodlyn, PA 19094.

When you submit a dispute, please be sure to include the following information: first and last name, last four digits of your Social Security number, date of birth, current phone number, current address and a description of each item on the report that you are disputing. FactorTrust will provide you with the results of our investigation and an updated consumer report within 30 days.

Security Freeze

A security freeze, sometimes referred to as a credit freeze or a consumer report freeze, prevents lenders from checking your credit report, giving you more control over who gets access to your information.

Please note that this security freeze only applies to your FactorTrust credit report and is not shared with the three national credit reporting agencies. Please contact one of them directly to review your security freeze options.

You can request or manage your security freeze online by clicking here.

You can also print and complete this form and mail it to us, along with all the required documents as outlined on the form. You may mail it to: FactorTrust – Freeze Requests, P.O. Box 57, Woodlyn, PA 19094.

To remove a security freeze by mail, or to remove a protected consumer security freeze, please send your written request, along with all required documentation, including proof of authority over a protected consumer, to the above address.

FactorTrust adheres to each state’s specific security freeze laws. To view any exemptions to your state’s freeze requirements, click here.
