At TransUnion, we stand united in the belief that right now, nothing holds more importance to our organizational fortitude and future than creating a truly equitable environment for all.
In 2019, we stated our commitments to reaching global gender parity by 2030 in our senior leadership, and achieving a year—over—year increase at all levels of management for underrepresented groups in the US. Download our 2020 Diversity Report to learn more about our progress.

After an eye-opening conversation with my 8—year—old niece, I realized many young girls still get the message they’ll have to choose between succeeding at work and being a good mother. That’s why I’m proud to work for a company that has made a public commitment to advancing its diversity, inclusion and gender equity agenda.
As a professional woman of color, there’s often not a place to simply identify as such. The McKinsey & Company’s Black Leadership Academy program allows you to show up authentically and get comfortable, and I know it will make me a better leader at TU.
DE&I isn’t just a buzzword or side project — it’s being woven into the fabric of our culture and identity as a company. I look forward to expanding our partnerships with minority organizations, supporting internal candidates with career opportunities, and adopting new approaches to increase the diversity of our talent pool while reducing potential bias in the recruiting process.
I was inspired to attend a Coffee & Conversation session because I believe as human beings, we can hold unconscious biases and opinions about others without knowing it — myself included. To me, music is an international language that brings people together. No matter the genre, music breaks barriers, evokes emotion, represents different things, and has no boundaries, limitations or prejudice. To work for a company that allows space for an enterprise DJ is pretty amazing.
We’re proud to be recognized as a great place to work for our dedication to creating a culture where associates are included, valued and embraced for who they are.
In 2020, we formed a special task force to put Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at the forefront of everything we do — from the culture we create to the total impact we have on the consumers and communities we serve. The Racial Equity Task Force focuses on advancing fairness and racial justice inside and outside of TU.
In pursuit of our goal to reach global gender parity in senior leadership by 2030, we launched a Gender Equity Steering Committee in 2019. This group, led by Todd Cello, Chief Financial Officer and Cathy Madden, Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, is ensuring intentional action to advance women in leadership during opportunities like hiring, promotion and succession planning.
We know the work to build a more inclusive world requires collaboration. That's why we've partnered with the following organizations which advocate for underrepresented groups in a variety of ways that complement our communities.
