Keeping your personal information up to date on your credit report is an important part of managing your data identity.

To remove old addresses from a credit report, you can log in to the TransUnion Service Center and start a dispute for free.

To update your current address on your credit report, you need to provide TransUnion with valid supporting documents that show the correct updated information. Mail in copies of two documents that show your new address.

Examples of valid documents include:

  • Copy of a utility bill
  • Copy of your driver's license

Send your written request as well as copies of your documents to the mailing address for disputes at TransUnion, which you can find on the Dispute by Mail or Phone page.
