Consumers not skimping on back-to-school shopping

Retailers and consumers are shifting their attention to the upcoming back-to-school season. TransUnion surveyed consumers about their back-to-school shopping plans and priorities, payment methods and more.

This year, roughly half of households expected to spend the same amount on back-to-school items compared to 2022, while 35% planned to spend more.
