Many branded calls that have been authenticated will include “Valid number” on the display, along with a checkmark, to indicate it was authenticated with STIR/SHAKEN and our end-to-end call authentication.
STIR/SHAKEN call authentication works by originating and terminating service providers verifying the caller is authorized to use the phone number and can be trusted.
Businesses can display their name, logo and reason for call on the mobile display for outbound calls, giving instant context and making recipients more likely to pick up. The display may also indicate when the call was authenticated with a checkmark, or “Valid number”.
