Spoofed call protection allows enterprises to digitally authenticate their outbound calls themselves. If a call isn’t really coming from the enterprise, the solutions help communications service providers (CSPs) mark the call as spam or block it. That’s especially important for organizations concerned about their phone numbers being spoofed, including financial institutions, healthcare providers, insurance companies, government agencies, utility providers and more. If calls aren’t authenticated, recipients don’t really know who’s calling.

The TSP retrieves call authentication data from the TransUnion Call Session Registry (CSR) to validate the call was initiated by the enterprise and apply the appropriate call treatment. TransUnion call authentication offers an additional layer of protection by leveraging STIR/SHAKEN and our end-to-end verification process. In addition, verification information is delivered by STIR Out-of-Band (OOB) to overcome network limitations.
